March ArtWalk with Gretchen Goldsmith

Loading Events

The first Moab ArtWalk of 2024 will take place on Friday, March 1st from 5-8pm at various locations around downtown Moab. (ArtWalks have been changed for 2024 to once per quarter on the first Fridays of the month.)

Stop by the Datura Deli and meet our featured local artist for the month, Gretchen Goldsmith.

Gretchen Goldsmith creates artworks using found items, both natural and human made. She calls these collectables “Trail Treasures.” Her current series, Nature Narratives: 3D Assemblages (assembled collages), was born from her participation in the Women Welding Workshop at the University of Utah, Moab.

Come see what you think at the first ArtWalk of the year! Gretchen will be showing a presentation of her artmaking process as well as examples of artifacts she has found to make her pieces. Light refreshments will also be provided.
