We are pleased to announce our fall 2025 grant recipient, the @moabfreehealthclinic! ⚕️

Out of the many excellent proposals we received this cycle, our grant selection committee decided to award this fall’s grant to the Moab Free Health Clinic (MFHC) to support their Double Down Dental program. Established in 2008, the MFHC provides free, inclusive, and integrated healthcare tailored to the unique needs of our remote frontier area in Southeast Utah. Their vision is a healthy and productive Moab where every person is knowledgeable, comfortable, and invested in accessing comprehensive health care.

The Seeds to Start Grant funds will go towards the purchase of an ultrasonic scaler and digital X-ray sensor, which will enable the MFHC to improve dental care efficiency, enhance patient comfort, and double the number of patients served by the clinic’s dentists. This will significantly improve access to dental care in southeastern Utah, especially for under- and uninsured patients.

We look forward to contributing to this program and seeing its impact on our local community’s health and wellness!

This 100% unfiltered, pure apple juice from the Apple Core Project and @montezumaorchardrestoration and is back in stock for the holiday season! 🍎🍏🍎 This is a great contribution to bring to a dinner party. Add some spices like cinnamon, allspice, cloves, and ginger, and heat up for a delicious spiced cider.

This juice was pressed from a blend of heirloom varieties of Colorado apples, part of the fruit growing heritage that the MORP and Apple Core Project aims to preserve and restore on the Western Slope! 🌳

🏠 Gingerbread House Making: Healthy Building Blocks 🏠

This class will focus on the importance of building in childhood development as well as replacing traditional holiday sweets with healthier options. Kids will learn about choosing healthy alternatives and make their own “gingerbread” houses using whole food ingredients.

🧘 Holiday Stress Relief Yoga & DIY Holiday Calming Spray Workshop 🧘
🧘 December 17, 5pm @ the MARC
Crystal Blanks will guide participants through gentle yoga, mindful breathwork, and restorative poses to release tension and reconnect with peace in this workshop designed to help you slow down, reset, and cultivate inner calm. Following the movement practice, create your own natural calming room mist or body spray using essential oils to use at home.

Kids will be able to participate in several activities to learn about and celebrate the winter solstice and the return of light, including yoga, snack and storytime, and an outdoor mindfulness lesson!
