About Rachel:
My name is Rachel Mitchell. I have lived in Moab for 25 years and consider myself a Moab local. Moab and its beautiful scenery have inspired me and encouraged my interest in painting these beautiful landscapes and wildlife.
I prefer to use acrylic paints on canvas as my medium as opposed to oils. I love Moab’s rich colors to which I add fine details that make everything stand out even more.
I hope everyone enjoys viewing my art as much as I enjoyed creating it.
