Paul has been photographing the Moab area since 1995 when, like many, he discovered his love of the region on a family road trip. His experience was transformative and today Paul
can be found wandering the backcountry of Arches National Park, where he is in his third season as a ranger.
Last year Paul presented a photography talk for the Canyonlands Natural History Association’s Fall Lecture Series titled “Photography Impacts & Influences in Our Public Lands.” Paul is passionate about photography and intrigued by the role it takes in making memories, shaping experiences, and defining how we interact with our public lands.
