Round Up at the Register for Moab Community Gardens

Loading Events

For the first two weeks of February, we will be hosting a Round Up at the Register campaign to benefit Moab Community Gardens! When you shop at Moonflower during these two weeks, you will have the option of rounding up your purchase total to the nearest dollar (or more), and 100% of your change will go directly to MoCom Gardens!

Moab Community (MoCom) Gardens was founded in 2018 with the mission to support local food security by providing growing spaces to the community, so that individuals with limited or no access to land or gardening resources may have an affordable opportunity to grow food for themselves and their families.

The project aims to create welcoming community spaces that are open and safe for people of all abilities and backgrounds.

This volunteer-run organization currently manages three community gardens in the Moab valley, at East Bench, Our Village, and WabiSabi. Funds from the Round Up will go toward the development of the new community garden at Arroyo Crossing, the new affordable housing development in Spanish Valley.
