Infant/Toddler Sensory Play Class

Loading Events

Join Moonflower Co-op and Courtney Dare Reese Hill for an informative and interactive class on sensory play for infants and toddlers.

Free play is a fundamental component of a child’s mental and physical development. In this class, participants will collaboratively create edible “moon dough,” which the children can use for play during the remainder of the session. Following this, the class will transition to a lecture format, during which you will learn:

  • The definition of sensory play
  • Key characteristics of sensory play
  • Why play is crucial for a child’s growth
  • Practical ideas for affordable, accessible sensory play activities

Free and open to the public. Children are welcome to join. Meet other local families and children in the community!

Courtney has 20 years of experience working with children in education, pediatrics, and yoga instruction, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She is the owner of Desert Power Yoga and mother of 7-month-old Wylder.
