Join Moonflower Co-op and Courtney Dare Reese Hill for an informative class designed to equip parents and caregivers with the skills and confidence necessary to prepare nutritious meals for their infants and toddlers.
Homemade baby food is often fresher and more nutritious than commercially prepared alternatives. Learn to make your own so you can control what goes into it!
Topics covered will include:
- Healthy meal ideas
- Introduction of infant-safe herbs and spices
- Guidelines for food texture progression
- Fostering the development of a varied flavor palette
- Foods to avoid
- General infant nutrition
The class will primarily be in lecture format, however, children are welcome to join and some movement activities will be incorporated. Meet other children and families in the community! Samples of homemade baby food will be provided. Class is FREE and open to the public.
Courtney has 20 years of experience working with children in education, pediatrics, and yoga instruction, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She is the owner of Desert Power Yoga and mother of 7-month-old Wylder.
