Presenting a Bokashi Workshop by dedicated fermenter from Bozeman, Montana, Kathleen Rauch, in collaboration with both Moonflower Coop and USU Moab in the Moonflower Coop Library. Bokashi is a revolutionary, earth-friendly modification of traditional composting that involves fermenting food waste before adding it to soil or a compost pile.
In this demonstration workshop, we will explore the myriad applications of Bokashi for home, farm and commercial applications. Learn how to recover precious nutrients from a full range of waste/organic material to create vibrant, healthy, microbial rich soil. We will also cover a simple method of cultivating the beneficial microorganisms that are essential for the Bokashi process.
