The first Moab ArtWalk of 2022 will be Saturday, April 9th from 5-8pm. Stop by the Datura Deli to check out the current art show on display. Our featured local artist, Amy DiMare, will be present during the ArtWalk to chat with about her work. Light refreshments will be provided.
After finding photography in high school, Amy began to lose interest in simply recreating 2D images of nature’s beauty. She began to cut out the most interesting parts of her landscape and travel photos and put them together, creating “Imaginary Landscapes.”
Amy says: “It’s about creating a place that no one has been but feels like home at the same time. Each piece has something we can all relate to. It’s your backyard, the trip you’ve always wanted to take, or the old house you grew up in, and I’m simply creating visual interpretations of it.”
