Every second Tuesday of the month, Moonflower Co-op donates 5% of the day’s proceeds to an organization doing important work in our community.
Join us on Tuesday, October 10th to support the Humane Society of Moab Valley!
The HSMV promotes and provides responsible care for our community’s animals and envisions every pet having a safe, healthy, happy life and a forever home. The HSMV provides adoption, low- and no-cost spay/neuter, and educational programs; a pet food bank for those in need; and a trap/neuter/return (TNR) program for feral and homeless community cats. Thanks to HSMV, Grand County achieved No-Kill status in 2003.
Since its founding in 1999, HSMV has:
- Found families for over 2500 animals
- Assisted in spaying/neutering over 6400 owned dogs/cats
- Spayed/neutered over 4000 feral community cats
Each year, HSMV distributes over 800 pounds of FREE pet food to those in need and volunteers donate over 5000 hours of time to HSMV’s mission.
