Join us Tuesday, June 9th in supporting Green River PACT (Positive Action Community Team)!
PACT actively works to provide resources for every resident within the small, rural community of Green River (pop. 952, 2010 Census). Our Pyramid Youth Programs provide afterschool, summer, recreational, and other educational programs that instill youth with a commitment to learning and a connection to their community and the world beyond. The Green River Thrift Store provides the area with low-priced merchandise that would otherwise be unavailable and gives a second life to goods that would be thrown away. PACT’s affordable housing initiative, Cottonwoods on the Green, provides eight apartments in town. Oasis Food Program strives to ensure that all people in Green River have access to the resources needed to live healthy lives. The food pantry provides food assistance to our community. Oasis also offers nutritious snacks and meals for our youth programs and an educational garden that provides fresh produce for those meals and to our pantry.
