Moonflower Cooperative is seeking nominations for 3 open seats on its 7-member Board of Directors.

The board is representative of Member/Owners and is responsible for the overall well-being of Moonflower Cooperative. Board members receive a 15% discount on purchases at Moonflower and reduced markup on special orders.

The duties of the Board of Directors include, but are not limited to:

-Establishing policies to govern operational decisions.

-Ensuring the financial well-being of the co-op.

-Securing the good management of employees.

-Assuring that the purpose and mission of the co-op is carried out.

Requirements:

-Must have been a coop member for 6 months or more (since October 2014 or earlier)

-Be able and willing to commit to 10-15 hours per month and serve a 3 year term.

-Prepare for and take part in monthly board meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, as well as the co-op annual meeting

-Be available via phone or email between meetings as necessary.

Nominations will be posted on February 19th; the election will be held at the board meeting on March 17th.
