An Introduction to Fermenting Vegetables

Do you want to create foods rich in probiotics and flavor in your kitchen? Come to this class taught by Kendra Kurihara and learn the basics of fermentation, from sauerkraut to kimchi and beyond. You will get to sample some fermented vegetables, learn how to make your own, and take some of your creations home. All ingredients will be provided.

Free and open to the public, but class is limited to 25 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign up below.

The class will be located in the USU Grand County Extension Conference Room teaching kitchen at 1850 S. Aggie Blvd., Moab, UT. No parking permit is required.
