The emotional domain of resilience is where we tend to leak the most energy, causing a physiological impact on our health—mentally, physically and socially. Learning emotional intelligence is crucial for healthy personal and interpersonal relationships and generally living a life well lived.
This interactive class will provide a brief overview of the science and practice of living more in sync, coherent lives.
What you’ll learn:
- The science of coherence, resilience, the nervous system, and heart rhythms
- How our emotions are reflected in our heart rhythms
- How coherence affects physical and mental performance
- A Quick Coherence® technique for balancing mental and emotional energy
Participants will practice an interactive research-based exercise to illustrate the relationship between typical emotional responses, their intensity, and how those responses affect the mind, body, and performance.
When we understand how emotions affect our physiology and therefore the health of our body and then have the awareness tools to identify what we are feeling at any given moment, we feel more empowered to be in control of our lives.
