DESCRIPTION:For the first two weeks of November\, we will be hosting a Round Up at the Register fundraiser to benefit WabiSabi! When you shop at Moonflower during these two weeks\, you will have the option of rounding up your purchase total to the nearest dollar (or more)\, and 100% of your change will go directly to WabiSabi. \n\nWabiSabi is a nonprofit organization committed to receiving\, revaluing\, and redistributing essential personal items to strengthen the Moab community. By providing fiscal support\, sponsorship\, and materials\, WabiSabi increases the impact of local nonprofits\, ensuring that Moab’s most vulnerable populations are supported. \nWabiSabi’s community Thanksgiving meal is coming up on November 27th from 12-5 pm! Held at the Moab Grand Center\, this event is open to all\, offering a chance to come together\, connect\, and give thanks as a community\, and enjoy a free Thanksgiving meal. Last year\, Wabi served 850 Thanksgiving meals. Their goal of the community Thanksgiving is to ensure everyone has access to a Thanksgiving meal while bringing people of all walks of life together. \nLearn more about our Round Up at the Register program here.

DESCRIPTION:In this fun\, interactive class for children and caregivers with Courtney Dare Reese Hill\, kids will learn about desserts made with whole food ingredients\, natural sweeteners\, and “super food” ingredients. Kids will learn about nurturing a healthy relationship with sweets and make their own delicious\, healthy banana pumpkin blend to take home and turn into ice cream. \nClass will include kid-friendly yoga. All ingredients and yoga mats will be provided. \n\nFREE and open to all. Meet other children and families in the community! DESCRIPTION:The final Moab ArtWalk of the year will take place on Friday\, November 7th from 5-8pm at various locations around downtown Moab\, including Moonflower Co-op. \nStop by the Datura Deli and meet our featured local artists for the month\, the Jacobs family! \nThe art on display at Moonflower in November is the work of a family of artists: Amanda\, Maya\, and Ari Jacobs. Amanda has always had a deep love for creativity and artistic expression that she is tremendously grateful to share with her twin children\, Maya and Ari\, who are now seniors in high school. \nOriginally from Salt Lake City\, Amanda has spent the past 22 years living in Moab\, Utah and Grand Junction\, Colorado and the family currently resides in Moab. \nMost of the work here is not for purchase\, but for purpose. It is our intention to share light with our community through art. If you are interested in purchasing our work\, we have handwork and sculpture available for purchase at Moab Made under The Bear and The Raven. We can also be reached at purposeofhealing@gmail.com. \n\nJoin the Jacobs family at Moonflower Co-op for the November ArtWalk! They will be available to answer questions and chat about their work. DESCRIPTION:Join us on Tuesday\, November 11th to support Active Re-Entry! \n\nActive Re-Entry’s mission is to help individuals with disabilities live as independently as possible in their own home and community. ARE has youth and adult activity groups\, provides medical equipment through our loan bank\, and offers information and referral services and more. \nFunds from the 5% Day will be used to purchase durable medical equipment (wheelchairs\, walkers\, shower chairs\, etc.) for our loan bank to loan out to members of the community. \nEvery second Tuesday of the month\, Moonflower Co-op donates 5% of the day’s proceeds to an organization doing important work in our community. This grant offers an opportunity for groups and individuals motivated to create positive changes and innovative solutions in our community focused on expanding local food production/security\, promoting environmental justice\, and/or directly benefiting underrepresented communities in need. \nOne applicant will receive up to $1000 for their project or special purchase. Crystal will guide you through breathwork\, a grounding body scan\, and a gentle yoga flow to connect mind\, body\, and breath. \nAfter movement\, learn about essential oils and their benefits before creating your own personalized natural\, non-toxic yoga mat spray cleaner to take home.
