DESCRIPTION:Seeking nominations for the Board of Directors Now is your chance to be an influential part of your community co-op! Moonflower is seeking nominations for 3 open seats on its 7-member Board of Directors. The board is representative of co-op Member/Owners and is responsible for the overall well-being of Moonflower Cooperative. Board members receive a 15% discount on purchases and a reduced markup on special orders. The duties of the Board of Directors include\, but are not limited to:  Establishing policies to govern operational decisions  Ensuring the financial well being of the co-op  Securing the good management of employees  Assuring that the purpose and mission of the co-op are carried out Requirements  :Must have been a co-op member for 6 months or more (since October of 2016)  Be able and willing to commit to 10-15 hours per month and serve a 3 year term  Prepare for and participate in monthly board meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month\, and attend the co-op annual meeting  Be available via phone or email between meetings as necessary. How to be nominated: Please pick up and application at the co-op\, or download from our website\, www.moonflower.coop Applications may be submitted via email jsavarese@moonflower.coop\, turned in at the store in a sealed envelope\, or mailed to: Moonflower Cooperative\, Attn: Judy Savarese\, 39 East 100 North\, Moab\, UT 84532.
