SUMMARY:Round Up at the Register for Community Rebuilds
DESCRIPTION:For the first two weeks of March\, we will be hosting a Round Up at the Register fundraiser to benefit Community Rebuilds! When you shop at Moonflower during these two weeks\, you will have the option of rounding up your purchase total to the nearest dollar (or more)\, and 100% of your change will go directly to CR. \nCommunity Rebuilds is a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to build energy efficient housing\, provide education on sustainability\, and improve the housing conditions of the workforce through an affordable program. CR works with low-income families and individuals to construct affordable homes using “dirt cheap” materials including locally sourced sand\, clay\, and straw. They also operate a free internship program for young emerging professionals to get hands-on experience in natural building and learn about affordable housing. \nYour donations go towards making CR’s homes affordable to low-income residents of Moab and supporting their internship program’s housing costs. \nDue to DOGE and other federal funding cuts\, we are currently navigating a significant funding gap that affects staffing capacity\, program stability\, and the completion of active projects. With timely financial support\, we can maintain momentum\, support our participants\, and finish what we started. DESCRIPTION:Every second Tuesday of the month\, Moonflower Co-op donates 5% of the day’s proceeds to an organization doing important work in our community. \nJoin us on Tuesday\, March 10th to support Epicenter! \nEpicenter’s mission is to steward creative initiatives that combine art\, architecture\, and rural investment in order to build a more resilient\, equitable\, and vibrant local community (in Green River and rural communities everywhere). \nFunding from this 5% Day will go towards the Green River Resilient Housing Initiative. This project consists of developing climate change-resilient rural housing prototypes\, relaunching the Fix It First home rehab program\, revitalizing Main Street through adaptive reuse\, and collaborating with local governments to expand the project’s impact. \n\n\n\n\nIf you are interested in signing your organization up for a 5% Day\, please fill out this form.

SUMMARY:Rest\, Dream\, & Restore: Yoga\, Sound Bath\, & Essential Oil Roller Making
DESCRIPTION:Join Moonflower Co-op and Crystal Blanks of Mindful Movement Moab for a deeply nourishing experience designed to calm the nervous system\, invite vivid rest\, and awaken intuitive dreaming. Crystal will guide participants through crafting their own aromatherapeutic dream oil roller using a blend of natural essential oils that support rest\, lucid dreaming\, and healthy nighttime habits. Participants will then be guided through supported restorative yoga postures using bolsters\, blankets\, and props while being immersed in a soothing\, therapeutic sound bath with singing bowls\, chimes\, and other therapeutic instruments to facilitate deep relaxation. \nFree and open to all. Ideal for anyone seeking deep relaxation\, better sleep\, stress relief\, and a meaningful self-care ritual to take home. \nAll materials and yoga mats will be provided. \nThe class will take place in the Dance Room at the Moab Arts and Recreation Center\, 111 E. 100 N. \nAbout Crystal: \nCrystal Blanks is a 500 RYT (500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher)\, 800 Yoga Therapist\, and holds multiple other certifications and owns a wellness practice here in Moab\, Utah\, Mindful Movement Moab. \n RSVPing is not required\, but appreciated to help us prepare ahead of time:
