SUMMARY:November ArtWalk with Guest Artist Bessann Swanson
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the last Moab ArtWalk of the year on Friday\, November 1st from 5-8pm! \nOur featured local artist for the month\, Bessann Swanson\, will be available to chat with about her work and will be providing materials for folks to paint a flower on a postcard with watercolors during the ArtWalk. Learn watercolor painting techniques from the artist herself! \nAbout Bessann: \nMy passion for creative expression has been an underlying thread in the curious tangles of life. It wasn’t until mid-life that I had the opportunity to pursue a lifelong dream of watercolor painting. My husband Frederick H. Swanson\, environmental writer and historian\, has shared with me the wonders of wild lands of the western U.S. I am drawn to nature’s wonders from redrock to autumn leaves. With watercolor I try to express and share the incredible with light and color. I hope you enjoy the show! \nCome see what you think while enjoying light refreshments. Get your ArtWalk postcard stamped at all the locations and turn it in to your last stop to be entered to win a prize from Moab Arts! \nAre you or someone you know interested in displaying an art show at Moonflower? We have openings beginning in December of this year and beyond. Email us at outreach@moonflower.coop for more info.
