DESCRIPTION:Every second Tuesday of the month\, Moonflower Co-op donates 5% of the day’s proceeds to an organization doing important work in our community. \nJoin us on Tuesday\, June 9th to support Steward Moab! \nSteward Moab was recently established to house the award-winning Moab Trail Ambassador Program. Our mission is to foster responsible connection to Moab’s public lands through education and collaborations that protect and enhance non-motorized and motorized recreation experiences for all. \nOur projects include the Moab Trail Ambassador Program\, Moab Guide Summit\, Back from Beyond Podcast\, Moab Human Waste Initiative\, The Desert is Different Educational Video Series\, and more. Our goal is to provide information and resources at every stage of visitor planning to ensure an informed Moab experience\, encourage safety\, create connection to the landscape and protect Moab’s locally loved spaces. \nAt this point\, our organization is seeking funds that allow us to respond to the evolving needs of our organization. SUMMARY:Round Up at the Register for Youth Garden Project
DESCRIPTION:From August 1st-14th\, we will be hosting a Round Up at the Register campaign to benefit the Youth Garden Project! \nWhen you shop at Moonflower during these two weeks\, you will have the option of rounding up your purchase total to the nearest dollar (or more). 100% of your change will go directly to supporting YGP! \nThe Youth Garden Project cultivates healthy children\, families\, and community through educational programs and connecting people with food from seed to table. \nThrough summer camp\, after school programs\, middle and high school workshops\, elementary Garden Classroom field trips\, and more\, YGP reaches many students in the Moab area. \nYGP also reaches the community through local food and events\, including a CSA program\, volunteerism\, a free you-pick Nibble Garden\, Weed ‘N’ Feeds\, ‘Table Talks’ workshops\, Garden Dinners\, and the upcoming Harvest Festival! \nFunds from the Round Up campaign will go directly towards YGP’s youth and community programming\, including but not limited to elementary field trips\, summer and spring break camps\, middle and high school workshops\, after school clubs\, community workshops\, and seed-to-table events. \nTo learn more about our Round Up at the Register program\, click here.
