SUMMARY:Round Up at the Register for the Grand County High School Native American Club
DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with Native American Heritage Month\, we will be hosting a Round Up at the Register campaign to benefit the Grand County High School Native American Club starting today through November 14th! When you shop at Moonflower during these two weeks\, you will have the option of rounding up your purchase total to the nearest dollar (or more)\, and your change will go directly to supporting our local Native youth! \nThe Native American Club serves local 7-12th graders at the Grand County middle and high schools. The Native American Club’s goals include: \n\nProviding resource connection\nGoal setting and achievement\nCultural learning\, pride\, and identity\nField trips and sharing experiences\nCareer introduction and relationship building\nProviding a safe space where students feel welcome and have ownership\n\n100% of the funds from the Round Up campaign will go directly to the Native American Club.\n\nLearn more about our Round Up at the Register program here.

DESCRIPTION:Every second Tuesday of the month\, Moonflower Co-op donates 5% of the day’s proceeds to an organization doing important work in our community. \nJoin us on Tuesday\, November 14th to support the Wellness Collective! \n\nWellness Collective is dedicated to promoting the well-being of the Moab community. We believe in ensuring equitable access to health and wellness programs and resources\, striving to make a positive impact on the lives of our community members. Our programs are designed with a strong emphasis on providing essential mental health support. \nOur vision is to create a thriving and healthy community where each individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential. We are continuously working towards this vision by adapting our services to meet the evolving needs of the Moab community. \nWellness Collective plans to use funding from the 5% Day to initiate and expand two new long-term wellness programs: \n\nExpanded Health Hikes: In collaboration with the Canyonland Field Institute\, we have ambitious plans to expand on the Health Hikes program. This initiative combines the benefits of outdoor therapy with a comprehensive mental health and wellness component. By leveraging the breathtaking natural landscapes of Moab\, we aim to provide a unique and therapeutic experience for community members\, fostering physical and mental well-being. This expansion will allow us to reach a broader audience and offer a holistic approach to health and wellness.\nTherapeutic Art Program: Recognizing the healing power of art\, we are excited to introduce a therapeutic art program for the Moab community. This program will provide a creative outlet for individuals seeking to address emotional\, psychological\, and spiritual needs through artistic expression. Art therapy has been shown to be a transformative tool for personal growth and healing\, and we believe it will be a valuable addition to our offerings.
