Chef Max Schön will demonstrate how to make several different types of pasta, by hand and by using a pasta sheeter. The class will complete the dishes using the fresh pasta, learning sauce making techniques, how to properly cook proteins, as well as knife handling skills. After which, the class can dine on their accomplishments!
During the last sixteen years, Max Schön’s career has taken him from restaurants in his hometown of Santa Fe, to Michelin starred destination dining in San Francisco, to Executive Chef positions at several places in the Durango and Telluride area. Max loves all types of cuisines and enjoys sharing that passion with people. He has come to Moab with his partner to launch YummyTown, a Mediterranean food truck opening in May.
